Beta Opportunity: Novell Access Manager

Novell is pleased to announce the Beta release of Novell Access Manager, codenamed Odyssey. Novell Access Manager is the next generation Access and Federation Management product from Novell. It provides access control to HTTP and non-HTTP applications, using Access Gateway and SSLVPN technology. The Access Gateway will be available on both NetWare (soft appliance) and Linux. Odyssey also provides access control to Java-based applications, including IBM WebSphere, BEA WebLogics and JBOSS. Novell would like to establish a close working relationship with a few highly motivated customers in an authorized beta setting. If you are interested in participating in this Beta test, please complete this survey. Beta testing will start in September.

Novell has garnered the largest market share in China's Linux Server Operating Environment for the first half of 2005, according to IDC's recent study "China Linux Market Analysis, 1H2005". The report shows that Novell leads the industry by revenue with 32.9 percent market share and in unit shipments with 30 percent.
